MOVING ON UP: Stamford continue to build on their solid form

A LATE Avelino Vieira strike ensured Frickley Athletic stay 19 points behind Basford United as they went down 3-2 at Peterborough Sports.
Athletic were looking to trim the gap to Basford at the top of the Evo-Stik South table, but Jordan Macleod’s well-taken strike after just five minutes had the Blues immediately on the back foot.
