CLEE HIT WITH BIG DEDUCTION

CLEETHORPES TOWN’S hope for back-to-back promotions was handed a huge blow this week after they had 12 points deducted for fielding an ineligible player.
The registration of goalkeeper Richard Walton, who the club were re-registering from Lincoln City, was not completed correctly and the points were taken.
It leaves last year’s Northern Counties East League champions in mid-table of Evo-Stik South.
