FORMER Tamworth boss Andy Morrell is looking to practice what he preaches after dusting down his striker’s boots at Redditch United.
The 43-year-old has agreed a short-term playing return with the Evo-Stik Southern Premier side and scored on his Reds debut in Tuesday’s 4-2 win over Gosport Borough – less than a fortnight after being sacked by the Lambs.
While the ex-Wrexham, Blackpool and Coventry City frontrunner says he is enjoying the freedom of playing again, he admits his main mission is to gain an insight from experienced United gaffer Tim Harris.
