VASE BEST NOT GOOD ENOUGH AS DUO SACKED

REACHING the FA Vase quarter-finals and being within touching distance of promotion to Step 4 wasn’t enough for Jeff Lamb and Paul McGrotty to keep their job at Bracknell Town.
The duo were sacked, via email, less than 48 hours after a 3-0 home defeat to Marske United in the last eight of the Vase. McGrotty tweeted on Monday: “At 9.19am myself and Jeff Lamb have just received an email to say we have been sacked by @BracknellTown- FC! Cheers!”
