NO JOKE AS RIDDLE RISES TO THE HODD HOT SEAT

SIMON Riddle has been given the job of rebuilding Hoddesdon Town following the resignation of joint managers James Halsey and Michael Bardle.
Riddle has been promoted from reserve team boss after the pair quit following Hoddesdon’s 2-1 defeat at St Margaretsbury. The side has also been recently hammered 8-0 at Berkhamstead.
The departure of the pair prompted the walk-out of several senior players, leaving Riddle to assemble a scratch aside for last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at London Colney, using reserve and under 18s players to make up the numbers.
