TRANMERE Rovers boss Micky Mellon lavished praise on his promotion chasers after two goals apiece from Andy Cook and James Norwood set up a convincing win at financiallytroubled Dagenham & Redbridge.
After a goalless first-half, Rovers took the lead in the 47th minute when Cook found the target.
The Prenton Park outfit added their second on 67 minutes with strike partner Norwood adding his name to the scoresheet.
