HIPWELL TO QUIT, AT 27!

WISBECH Town defender Luke Hipwell has been forced to quit playing at the age of 27.
Suffering from a long-term knee injury, Hipwell has been unable to make a single appearance for the United Counties Premier side this season.
He joined the Fenmen from rivals Yaxley three years ago, and scored one goal in 80 appearances.
But he will remain with the club as a coach, having worked as part of the management team with previous boss Dick Creasey and current manager Gary Setchell.
Hipwell made his early retirement decision after a series of scans and receiving advice from a specialist.
