STALYBRIDGErecorded their fourth win on the bounce and completed the double over title-chasing Warrington.
After enduring early pressure from the visitors, Celtic stamped their authority on the game and Greg Wilkinson twice went close with long-range efforts.
Three minutes from the break, Warrington keeper Tony McMillan was fortunate to escape with just a yellow card when he up-ended Connor Hughes in the area, and Liam Dickinson stepped up to rifle home the spot-kick.
Right on half-time Wilkinson doubled Celtic’s lead with an absolutely stunning strike.
