HE ACCEPTS it might be the oldest cliché in the book, but Matty Holmes is determined to take it a game at a time before he can even think about securing his first promotion as manager.
The 48-year-old rookie has already steered Wimborne Town to their highest ever finish in Evo-Stik Southern South West finishing strongly towards a respectable 11th place last season.
