LANCASTER CITY 1 ALTRINCHAM 2

ALTRINCHAM took another step towards clinching the title with a victory at Lancaster whilst their two nearest rivals suffered defeats.
The game got off to flying start with both sides having an opportunity in the opening ten minutes. Josh Hancock fired wide from a good position for Altrincham and then Tony Thompson came quickly off his line to thwart Charlie Bailey.
Altrincham broke the deadlock on ten minutes. A swift move forward gave Max Harrop the chance to cross to Jordan Hulme who beat Elliot Wynne.
