MARCUS Bignot believes Chester FC would be hard pushed to get in another manager with a better CV at National League North level than him next season.
A 2-0 defeat at home to Tranmere yesterday confirmed the Blues’ relegation from the National League’s top flight. It follows a season of turmoil both on and off the field with the club informing their current boss last week – who was appointed as manager in September after Jon McCarthy’s sacking – that his contract would not be renewed at the end of the season.
