CONVERTED centre-back Jon Shaw says he can fully understand why Football League clubs are eyeing his South Shields defensive partner Dillon Morse.
Since helping the Mariners to FA Vase success last may, the former Gateshead and Blyth Spartans man has eased into life in Step 4 and has helped Graham Fenton’s side to the top of Evo-Stik North division.
And the 23-year-old, who scored at Wembley, has added more goals to his game, notching his ninth of the season in last Saturday’s 5-2 win over fellow promotion chasers Prescot Cables.
