TURGOTT MAGIC IS A BLOW TO FYLDE

MAIDSTONE United took a mighty step towards remaining their National League status thanks to a fine solo goal from Blair Turgott.
Turgott’s mesmorising run and finish past Fylde keeper Jay Lynch was enough to hand the Stones a first win in six matches, while severely denting the play-off hopes of their visitors.
Victory takes Jay Saunders’ men six points clear of the drop zone, so no wonder the Stones chief was delighted afterwards.
