ALVECHURCH secured a playoff spot in the South Division awith this hard-earned 1-0 home victory.
They started strongly, dominating possession for the first half-an-hour or so and eventually raised their supporters’ hopes with Luke Yates breaking through on the right, dinking the goalkeeper and shaping to score the perfect goal. Unfortunately, it came back off the far post.
Thankfully for Alvechurch, though, Nathan Waite was there to smash the home side in front and give them the lead going into half-time.
