MALDON & Tiptree made their play-off intentions known with a staggering 5-0 away win over Aveley.
In a rampant first half Chris Millar put the Essex side ahead on 16 minutes before striker Eoin McKeown scored twice in two minutes following some poor Aveley defending.
Kevin Horlock’s team were four up at the break thanks to Lee Barnard’s penalty and McKeown wrapped up his hat-trick with 17 minutes left to play to leave Maldon just three points outside the play-offs.
