■ROMFORD earned a valuable point against promotion- pushing Potters Bar and moved off the bottom.
In a match of few chances the Boro probably shaded proceedings with Nick Reynolds heading millimetres wide and Ayo Olukoga fired over when well-placed.
On the rare occasion Potter Bar got forward, Rob Budd was on hand to keep the visitors at bay. With time running out and their automatic promotion hopes fading, the visitors captain resorted to play acting.
For the first time in a long while Romford’s safety is in their own hands.
