HYTHE took another major step towards the play-offs.
Hythe’s top-scorer, Zak Ansah, took only four minutes to open the scoring.
Chipstead were dangerous on the break and on 42 minutes Tobi Adaje beat the offside trap to make it 1-1.
Two goals in rapid succession after the restart looked as though they had put Hythe home and dry. Matthew Warren scored an own goal and then Liam King shot across goal.
Kieron Campbell’s determination brought number four but Eddie Dsane hit the goal of the match, a 25 yard volley for 4-2.
