NEWLY-promoted Lewes kept up their chase towards the title.
Harry Reed and Jonte Smith had early chances for a lacklustre Lewes whilst Lewes keeper Chris Winterton did well to parry Alex Gaggin’s 13th minute shot.
Lewes sub Billy Medlock almost opened the scoring with the last kick of the half but his free kick hit the post.
A minute after the restart, Smith put Lewes ahead as the ball came off the post and rebounded against him as he crossed the goaline.
