It’s time FA moved into the 21st Century

I HAVE to say I agree with Malcolm Corbould regarding the FA’s stance on 3G and 4G pitches (Fans’ Forum, April 8).
I case my mind back to when Eastleigh postponed their game with Chester earlier in the season after fans and the team had already made the long trip down to the south coast.
The game then had to be played in midweek when many fans could not travel, so clubs lose money.
The FA and EFL need to bring football into the 21st Century. It is okay for the top clubs, but for the lower league clubs 3G pitches can prove to be a lifeline. Nearly all clubs train on 3G now anyway...
