■NEWCASTLE confirmed their Evo-Stik status with two second-half goals. Castle almost took the lead on three minutes when Ricky Bridge’s shot came back off the bar and then Belper keeper Joe Searson- Smithard saved well from Luke Askey.
However, Newcastle relieved the tension when Rod Orlando-Young burst through to slot home.
Castle began to play with more freedom and Aaron Bott won the ball and finished in style to clinch the game and assure another season in the Evo-Stik League.
