A MARV-EL FOR MINERS

FORMER Guiseley first team coach Ben Marvin has been named as the new manager of voluntarily- relegated Rainworth Miners’ Welfare.
Marvin replaces Craig Denton, who quit after leading the club to tenth place in the Northern Counties East Premier following the decision by club officials to go down to Step 6 in a bid to cut costs.
Marvin said: “I look forward to everyone joining us in the coming season as we strive to begin reclimbing the football ladder in a sustainable manner.”
