I HAVE to say I was totally disgusted to witness the scenes in the crowd which marred the Bostik South Play-Off Final between Corinthian-Casuals and Walton Casuals last Saturday.
What should have been a fine advert for Non-League football at the home of one of the country’s most famous clubs, turned into a farce with players forced off the pitch while an ugly brawl was broken up behind the goal. Non-League purity it certainly wasn’t!
