MANCHESTER CITY captain Vincent Kompany is believed to be involved in a bid to take over National League North club Stockport County.
The Manchester Evening Newsare reporting the Premier League star is behind one of two current bids which were discussed by the club’s shareholders and board members at a meeting on Thursday.
Kompany is thought not to have an active part in the proposed takeover, but he is associated with Belgian businessman and former classical pianist Klass Gaublomme, who is heading a consortium to buy the club. In a statement, Stockport said: “All of the club...
