QUORN MOURN LOSS OF STRIKER

QUORN have been plunged into mourning following the sudden and unexplained death of 18-year-old striker Ryan Evans in his sleep.
Highly-rated Evans, who hit 12 goals in 42 games for the Midland Premier side this season after progressing through their youth set-up and making his first team debut at 17, had agreed to join Mansfield Town’s under 21s side next season. He had been part of the Leicestershire FA’s under 18s squad last season.
Evans was found dead at his home in Swadlincote on May 24.
