I READ with interest the article by Laurence Jones in last week’s NLP (June 24) regarding the play-offs in the Northern Counties East League and the North West Counties.
Questions need to be asked of The FA as to why clubs were not informed about the removal of the play-offs until last Sunday, just six weeks before the start of the season!
