Battling Bishops shown no mercy from Boro’s brilliant young guns

BISHOP Auckland took an eight-goal pounding as they were put to the sword on home soil by a far superior Middlesbrough U23s side.
The hosts found themselves behind after just six minutes when Djed Spence was brought down inside the area and Ben Liddle tucked away the resulting penalty. It took only five more minutes for Boro to double their lead through a piece of individual brilliance from Stephen Walker.
