PATTON SINKS HIS OLD PALS

GOALS from Darren Richardson and Callum Patton helped Bishop Auckland come from behind to shock Whitby Town.
Gregg Rutherford gave the Seasiders the lead from the penalty spot, but they threw away an early lead for the second game in succession.
The Evo-Stik visitors grew into the game as the half went on. Rutherford and Matty Tymon combined before a trialist fired over from the edge of the box on the half-hour mark.
Whitby took the lead on 35 minutes after a dubious foul on Tymon. Rutherford sent Bishops keeper Nick Liversedge the wrong way.
