BURY Town boss Ben Chenery reckons he has pulled off a coup after landing attacking midfielder Jake Chambers- Shaw from under the noses of Suffolk neighbours Lowestoft Town.
The playmaker alerted the attentions of the Trawlerboys after putting in a number of impressive performances for Mildenhall Town in the Isthmian North last season, scoring seven times in 35 appearances.
But due to unforeseen circumstances, Chambers- Shaw’s transfer to The Amber Dew Events Stadium failed to reach completion, prompting Chenery and a number of managers in the region to express an interest.
