HEDNESFORD TOWN edged out a feisty pre-season friendly at Lye Meadow.
The Pitmen opened the scoring on 11 minutes moments after Josh March had gone close for the Church; when a clearance broke through for Dan Cockerline to sidefoot home into the bottom-right corner.
