WHEN you’ve won three titles on the spin it’s no surprise you will be tipped for the top again – but South Shields probably already know that.
The north-east club were in Step 6 just three seasons ago but have rocketed up the divisions with a stop at Wembley to lift the FA Vase along the way.
Their 1,000-plus crowds are the envy of many as is their dynamic management team of Graham Fenton and Lee Picton, who signed new five-year deals back in May.
