BEDFORD got their season off to a rampant start after hammering Kidlington.
Dan Walker opened the scoring on seven minutes when he latched onto a through ball and calmly stroked his shot past keeper Sam Warrell, with Craig Daniel pouncing on a loose ball to double the lead soon after.
Warrell prevented the visitors from adding to the scoreline but he was powerless in preventing veteran Paul Benson – who looked offside – from tucking home a third.
