SLEW’S DOUBLE DOWNS WOLVES

JEROME Slew scored twice as Northwood powered past an underwhelming FC Romania with ease.
Northwood started strongly, with Ben Pattie blazing over from close range, but they did not have to wait long for the breakthrough as Slew took aim from 20 yards and found the corner.
The hosts fought back and levelled from the spot through Gabriel Ghinea two minutes before half time to shift the momentum.
For a long time that looked like being enough for a point but Northwood finished strongly and Slew put them ahead again with ten minutes left.
