IN A hotly-contested and physical encounter, AFC Mansfield were only just able to squeeze past their opponents from two leagues below.
Defender Jordan Annable broke the deadlock with a sublime firsttime finish to volley Jimmy Ghaichem’s cross into the far corner of the net on the half-hour.
The visitors should have drawn level before the break but AFC’s Tom Crosby came to the rescue with a sublime one-on-one stop.
