OSSETT UNITED 2 MOSSLEY 2

■ IT ENDED honours even in Ossett United’s first venture into the F.A. Cup against Mossley from NPL Division 1 West.
After a goalless first half not short on chances, the game sprung to life when a long ball forward found Aidan Chippendale who scored but was then ruled offside.
But a penalty to United soon after allowed Adam Priestley to fire them in front.
Mossley responded strongly but Tom Corner doubled United’s lead on the hour mark.
However, the fight back continued and Ben Halfacre pulled one back before, with only five minutes left, Adam Jones squeezed...
