■IF I was a Wrexham supporter, I probably couldn’t help but get excited at what this season may have in store.
Under rookie boss Sam Ricketts, the Dragons have been on fire – but they aren’t resting on their laurels, bringing in midfielder Scott Burgess on loan this week from Bury having played 31 times for league champions Macclesfield. It’s been five seasons since Wrexham last reached the playoffs – fans can start believing again.
