Barwell tamely wave white flag

BARWELL collapsed out of the FA Cup with this hefty defeat at the hands of their Derbyshire visitors.
It was a disappointing display that saw the home side concede five goals and tamely wave the white flag in a needless surrender.
Buxton dominated the opening exchanges but failed to make the breakthrough while Barwell captain Brady Hickey was impressive, pressing the visitors at the other end.
Even at this early stage of proceedings, it looked as though the home team would have their work cut out to stay in the game and progress in the competition.
