SUBSTITUTE Aaron Lloyd’s goal saw Alvechurch edge past tenman Stratford Town.
Stratford came into the game in a bit of a crisis, with manager Darren Byfield leaving the club three days before this tie.
Byfield’s former assistant manager Steve Walker took charge of the game with Nathan Marsh.
Despite this, the visitors failed to create a real meaningful chance, with midfielder Danny O’Callaghan and Mitch Botfield trying their luck from long range with no prevail.
