KING’S Lynn Town survived an almighty cup scare as Histon came within minutes of causing one of the shocks of the First Qualifying Round.
Defender Frazer Blake- Tracy spared Lynn’s blushes with a late equaliser after the lower-league Stutes had twice led in an absorbing clash.
King’s Lynn started well as Ryan Fryatt headed over at the far post, Craig Parker failed to convert a Blake-Tracy centre, Toby Hilliard fired into the arms of Sam Roach and Nathen Stewart struck the post with a curling effort.
