NEW BOYS HIT WITH VASE AXE

TWO North West Counties League newboys have been booted out of the FA Vase – before they had even kicked a ball!
Division One South sides Wythenshawe Town and Rylands were due to play each other in the first qualifying round last Saturday but have now been withdrawn following a meeting of The FA’s cup sub-committee.
It was ruled that neither club had met the minimum ground grading requirements as floodlighting had not being installed by the deadline for Vase entry.
As result, Hemsworth Miners Welfare have now received a bye into the first round proper.
