TWO second-half goals saw Hednesford Town pick up their first home league victory of the season against a Workington side who remain pointless on the road.
The opening exchanges were quiet but it was Workington who had the first chance when Jason Walker shot wide after breaking through in the 14th minute.
Although Hednesford forced a succession of setpieces they could not find an effort on target meanwhile goalkeeper Josef Bursik saved from Connor Tinnion’s low effort.
