SCARBOROUGH leapfrogged Basford in the top half of the table with this convincing victory.
The opener was scored by Boro’s central defender and man of the match Bailey Gooda on 26 minutes. A deep corner from Michael Coulson was pushed away by the Basford keeper, only for Gooda to control and drive home. The visitors’ day then got worse as they were forced to make two substitutions before the interval.
