TAMPLIN DENIES WATTSAPP JIBE

GLENN Tamplin denies ever appointing Steve Watt as Billericay Town’s new manager following reports that he was sacked just hours after after landing the job.
Former Margate boss Watt was said to have agreed to help run the National League South side and was introduced to the players via their WhatsApp group.
But two hours later, Watt was removed with Tamplin apparently messaging the group: “I’ve had to sack him bcoz he was slagging us off last year.”
