DUNSTON UTS made it ten wins from 11 games as their unbeaten start to the season continued.
This all Step-Five tie on Tyneside was settled in the first half when three goals were scored in eight minutes.
Dunston went two up before Irlam got straight back into the game. Liam Brooks scored both of Dunston’s goals, the first after 17 minutes. Brooks doubled the lead when he fired home at the back post after he was set up by Mark Fitzpatrick.
Matthew Bolland replied with a trademark free-kick into the top corner to set up a tight second half.
