HOT-SHOT striker Sam Adams scored two goals and then replaced redcarded keeper Charlie Horlock in goal to help Hastings United notch a memorable 4-3 FA Cup victory at Leiston.
The striker’s prowess with the gloves, plus some resolute defending, denied the hosts after they laid siege to the Arrows goal in search of an equaliser. Earlier Dan Ajakaiye’s fifth-minute opener for Hastings had been overturned by two quick goals from Joe Jefford and Matt Blake.
