BLACKFIELD &; Langley’s first-ever game in the FA Trophy ended with a 3- 0 win over Highworth Town, despite a match that wasn’t as comfortable as the scoreline suggests.
Blackfield goalkeeper Lewis Noice made two very good saves early on but then a ball over the top allowed Rudy Plummer to run on and score past the keeper from just inside the area on 24 minutes.
Plummer doubled the lead with a superb looping shot from 20 yards and Sam Poole settled it with a stooping header from a corner at the death.
