BROMSGROVE Sporting had to dig deep to extend their unbeaten start to their league season, Charlie Dowd firing the Rouslers to victory against Dunstable.
Will Shorrock blazed a volley over the bar in the early moments but the best chance of the half fell to Richard Gregory, who was left one-on-one with Dunstable keeper Fred Burbidge but saw his effort saved.
Chances came in quick succession five minutes into the second period for Dunstable’s Arel Amu and Daniel Trif but it was Dowd who hit Sporting’s winner just after the hour...
