BYFIELD’S BACK IN BUSINESS IN WOOD HOT SEAT

RETURN: Darren Byfield

FORMER Stratford Town boss Darren Byfield is back in football as manager of Midland Premier outfit Walsall Wood.
The 41-year-old former Walsall, Sunderland and Rotherham United striker replaced Carl Adams at Stratford in July, but quit after just six games in charge, citing differences of opinion on how the club should be run.
Byfield, who has also managed Redditch United and played Non-League football with Solihull Moors, AFC Telford and Tamworth, replaces Gary Birch, who has moved up to a new post at Oak Park as director of football, where he will ...
