HEBBURN Town progressed to the next round of the FA Vase with a convincing win over ten-man City Of Liverpool in front of a record attendance at the Hebburn Sports
Ground. Veteran striker Greame Armstrong got the majority of the 1,032 fans cheering as he opened the scoring for the Hornets after his first effort had come back off the bar.
Louis Storey scored the second soon after. In the second half, James Fairley scored the goal of the game – an effort from his own half, before Paul Chow added another in added time.
