BOLDMERE St Michaels left it late to secure their place in the next round of the FA Vase, courtesy of substitute Joe Lyng’s 90th minute winner to down tenman Rugby Town.
It was the away side who started as the dominant force, taking an 18th minute lead from the penalty spot, Romario
Martin slotting home after keeper Lewis Fenney had felled Simeon Tulloch. Boldmere would grab a deserved equaliser after growing into the game, with another penalty awarded and a red card for Loyiso Recci for a last-man foul – Rikardo Reid duly sending the keeper the wrong way.
