Trinity continue fine run of form

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity comfortably beat Hyde United at the Ewen Fields Stadium to make it two wins in a row in the Evo-Stik Premier League and move up to fourth in the table.
Confusion surrounded the first goal on 15 minutes after the officials seemed indecisive about whether a header from Trinity’s Ross Hannah had crossed the line, but it was eventually given to put the visitors 1-0 up.
The lead was doubled on 54 minutes when a fantastic run from Hannah ended with him finding Alex Simmons, who kept his cool to slot home.
